- New Plans offers around 30% savings against other competitive offers in the market
Mumbai, November 3rd, 2009: Following the overwhelming response for its Simply Reliance Plan announced in October, offering single tariff rate across all services, Reliance Communications today extended its Simply Reliance Initiative with two new tariff variants effective November 5, 2009. These new variants aim to offer an all-round product portfolio under Simply Reliance Initiative. These offers reiterate the simplicity and value benefits of Simply Reliance through enhanced value and single rate proposition.
As the current Indian telecom landscape evolves, RCOM sees three distinct segments emerging in terms of call patters in the country:
- Short duration calls
- Long duration calls
- Standard Length Calls
Commenting on the expansion of Simply Reliance Initiative to new offerings, Mr Mahesh Prasad, President, Reliance Communications said, “The launch of Simply Reliance Plan in October was very well received in the market, both by customers & trade. Customers across India have appreciated our endeavour to offer single, simple and transparent tariff on all local, STD and roaming calls. We now extend the Simply Reliance Initiative by offering two new products catering to varied customer needs with the same simplicity & unconditional transparency.”
In order to address the needs of these three distinct customer segments, Reliance Communication is launching new tariff variants under its Simply Reliance Plan. These two new offerings reiterate the commitment of Simply Reliance Plan with ‘No Conditions’, No Monthly Recharge’& ‘Any Network Anytime’ benefits.
- For short duration callers, Reliance is launching 1paise/second single call rate
- For long duration callers, Reliance is now offering Re 1 for 3 minutes call rate
- For those with standard call duration, Reliance will continue offering 50p/Minute tariff rate
Reliance is launching these plans across both its CDMA and GSM networks offering tremendous savings potential. “Most of the competitive offers in reaction to Simply Reliance Initiative have fallen short with various restrictions, conditions and limited to calls on the same network in the home zone,” Mr Prasad added.
These new offerings under Simply Reliance Initiative, which has set industry benchmarks in the Indian Telecom Sector, extend the single rate benefit to:
- All Local calls
- All STD calls
- To any CDMA or GSM Mobile and Landline anywhere in India
- All incoming and outgoing calls while roaming
- Anytime of the day or night
- Without any monthly charges
- Without any hidden charges or any conditions, whatsoever
